How to Plan a Marigold Garland Backdrop
Flower garlands can turn a plain wall or doorway into a colorful celebration space. For haldi, mehndi, Diwali or a party, begin with the area you want to decorate and the pack contents you need.
Measure your backdrop
Measure the width and hanging height. Decide whether you want vertical strings, a draped arrangement or a frame around an opening. Draped strings need extra length for the curves, so do not treat total string length as a guaranteed doorway width.
Check the number of strings
Our orange-yellow marigold garland pack includes five artificial strings, each 4.5 feet long. Other styles and packs can differ. Read each product page and selected option before calculating your order.
For vertical strings, mark the positions across your backdrop first. Count those positions to estimate the number of strings needed. Choose the spacing based on the look you want and the size of your setup. This is a planning guide rather than a fixed product coverage promise.
Choose one main color combination
Orange and yellow create a bright focal point. You can pair garlands with a coordinating door toran or keep the backdrop as the main decoration. Use the same palette on nearby details to bring the setup together.
Allow time to fluff and hang
Artificial flower garlands may arrive compressed. Gently fluff the flowers before hanging. Mounting supplies are not included; choose supports suited to the surface and the product. Keep walkways clear and garlands away from flames or hot lamps.
Finish the doorway and table
For Diwali, browse rangoli and diyas. For a puja setup, see the 12-inch steel puja thali with three bowls. Props shown in photos are sold separately unless explicitly included.
